One of the most common requests we get is "how do I join #FoodieFriday?" and we don't blame you :)
#FoodieFriday was our way of exploring + trying new food for event ideas but it was never coordinated enough to offer up as an event of it's own.
We love food but food tours weren't our area of expertise so we’re teaming up with a pro, @EatingThroughTO every Friday in January for a tasty series of tours + dinners open to the public that's curated + more coordinated than our usual street wanderings :)
We'll be visiting 5 restaurants in Chinatown, all serving a different style of Chinese dumpling from Soup Dumplings to Potstickers to some dim sum favourites plus some of our favourite bubble tea spots.
The walking tour will start with Soup Dumplings at Asian Legend and from there we will wander through Chinatown's favourite dumpling spots.
Dress for the weather but each stop will be no more than 10 min away.
@torontocommon #FoodieFriday on instagram is a fun hashtag we've used for years to showcase delicious food explorations every Friday but usually with a bit of a carefree schedule.
We would pick a neighbourhood, wander the streets, + ask restaurants what we should try as we went, afterall trying something new is what we do.
We loved the idea of including more people in food tours but knew that it would need to be a more coordinated experience so we've partnered with @EatingThroughTO to expand #FoodieFriday into guided tours + dinners.
Curated + coordinated by a professional food guide, + sommelier, we're excited to offer a new way to encourage food adventures!

#FoodieFriday events will vary in times, tastings, + styles, some will be tours, some will be dinners, all designed to help guests experience something new, + all at great value!
Tickets are limited and may vary in quantity based on the type of event but tickets will always be $35 and guaranteed better than regular price.
You will never pay more than if you ordered the same items on your own after tax + tip.

No tickets will be available at the door.

Guests should arrive 5 minutes prior to event to check-in. Event will start on time.
Tickets must be presented (printed or electronically) to check-in.
Each ticket is a unique one-time use code and cannot be shared.
This is a communal event, guests will be seated with other guests.
Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to someone else without any additional administration.
