Ooh Ma La 麻辣 French Sichuan 5 Course Dinner at the House of Common

Toronto Common is partnering with The House of Common Executive Chef and Owner Jonathan LeBlanc for Oooh Ma La (麻辣) a French meets Sichuan Tasting Dinner as part of our new Toronto Common Play Series.

Play is a fun way for chefs to work with new ingredients, cuisines, and showcase their creativity.

Chefs participating in "Play" host one event based on a theme with our first theme being Sichuan, a cuisine famous for the unique numbing spice of the Sichuan peppercorn.

The House of Common is modern cafe and catering company offering brunch and lunch in the Junction as well as catering across the GTA.

Executive Chef Jonathan LeBlanc is trained in French cuisine and has a passion for Sichuan food. He has apprenticed with Jamie Kennedy and interned at Michelin Star restaurants in Italy, which has taught him the importance of quality ingredients and creativity.

Follow along on social media to see what the chefs are experimenting with in the kitchen and sign up to taste their new creations.

* Due to the off-menu nature of “Play” events, they do not fit our better than regular price guarantee as there is no regular price but they will continue to offer excellent value with tax and tip included.
