Private Tour of the Ancient Egypt Exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum

Toronto Common is heading to the ROM

We're moving beyond food (but still with a little food) and heading to the Royal Ontario Museum for a guided tour of their Ancient Egypt Exhibit!

Ancient Egypt has had a profound impact on modern civilization, including culture, religion, technology, and architecture. The Egyptian collection at the ROM is comprised of approximately 25,000 artifacts spanning from 4,000 BC to 400 AD, with about 2,000 on display in the gallery. Our tour of the exhibit is a unique opportunity to engage with a ROM expert, ask questions and learn about this ancient culture.

The Royal Ontario Museum offers regular tours throughout the day but private tours such as this need to be pre-booked with a minimum 20 guests, making it a perfect outing for Toronto Common.

Our ticket will include admission to the museum, admission to the Viking exhibit, an hour long guided tour of the exhibit plus a $10 gift certificate for Famoso

*Please note tickets for this event close earlier than usual as the ROM requires at least two weeks notice for tours.

The Royal Ontario Museum is Canada's largest museum and home to more than six million objects and specimens, featured in 40 gallery and exhibition spaces.

Opened in 1914, it showcases art, culture, and nature from around the globe and across the ages and is an international leader in new and original findings in biodiversity, palaeontology, earth sciences, the visual arts, material culture and archaeology.
